Deptford Township and Council to partake in National Night Out

Amenities will include free food and music to enjoy. K-9 demonstrations from some of Deptfordā€™s four canine teams.

 

After a year off, the Mayor and Council along with the Deptford Police Department are proud to host National Night Out on August 3 from 6-8pm. The event will take placeĀ  at the Deptford Recreation Area, located at 52 Montague Lane. National Night Out is an annual nationwide event that takes place the first Tuesday of August in an effort to build camaraderie with police partnerships and the local community.

ā€œWe are excited for this night with our community and to spend time with our neighbors and first responders. There’s something for everyone, fun for the whole family,” said Mayor Paul Medany.

The event will include offerings for all ages. Amenities will include free food and music to enjoy. K-9 demonstrations from some of Deptfordā€™s four canine teams. There will be games and opportunities for children to touch-a- truck. The Mayor and Council encourage everyone to come out to meet your neighbors, get to know your local first responders and enjoy a fun night in Deptford!
