After a one-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lutheran Church of Our Savior Social Ministry Committee is once again collecting school supplies for Interfaith Homeless Outreach Council.
Please don’t throw out unused school supplies — donate them. In 2019, the ministry filled more than 100 backpacks thanks to generous donations, and it hopes to exceed that amount this year.
Return all donations to the church no later than Aug. 22. All donations will be accepted. There will be a big blue bin located just inside the church’s Wayne Avenue entrance for donations.
