Service to honor longtime Haddonfield influencer to be held next week

Reynolds was a proud alumnus of Haddonfield Memorial High School, Class of 1957, who later served as head of borough politics from 1973 to 1977. He was a lifelong Rotarian and taught the men’s bible class at Haddonfield United Methodist Church for more than 20 years. Bill also spent 43 years on the board of the Haddonfield Public Library, 28 years as president. In 1983 he and a few other like-minded citizens founded the Haddonfield Foundation, and he served as its president from 1983 until 2003 and as a board member until 2010.

William W. Reynolds, Jr. a longtime Haddonfield resident who left his mark on borough affairs, passed away on Jan. 4 at the age 81.

Due to COVID restrictions, Bill’s memorial service had been delayed.  

Bill’s family will receive friends on July 16, from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in the Sanctuary of the Haddonfield United Methodist Church, 29 Warwick Road. His Memorial Service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Bill may be made to The Haddonfield Foundation, PO Box 555, Haddonfield, N.J. 08033.
