Three-part lecture series coming to Historical Society

The series will take place on three Tuesday evenings via Zoom: July 13, July 27, and August 10 at 7 p.m.

The Historical Society of Haddonfield will be presenting a three-part virtual seminar series this summer entitled “Haddonfield 101.”

Taught by Historical Society board member Doug Rauschenberger, co-author of Lost Haddonfield and one of the Borough’s official Co-Historians, the series will provide an overview of our community’s history from the seventeenth century to today.

The series will take place on three Tuesday evenings via Zoom: July 13, July 27, and August 10 at 7 p.m.

Each lecture will focus on a different topic, and you are welcome to join us for one, two, or all three evenings! Tickets for members are available at $15 per lecture or $40 for all three. The price for non-members is $20 per lecture or $55 for all three. All proceeds benefit the Historical Society of Haddonfield. You can purchase your tickets via Eventbrite.

The series will explore Haddonfield’s history in three parts:  Tuesday July 13 – Part One: “The Birth and Building of a Quaker Community in the New World,” Tuesday July 27 – Part Two: “A Very Pleasant Town: From Quaker Village to Growing Suburb,” Tuesday August 10 – Part Three: “Haddonfield from the Twentieth Century to the Present.”

We hope you’ll join us for this deep dive into our community’s past.
