The Voorhees Township Committee is pleased to welcome the summer of 2021 and our 18th Annual Summer Series and we are excited to present another fun-filled summer of free entertainment.

On Thursday, June 24, the 2019 PG movie The Lion King will be shown on a 40-foot outdoor screen at the Voorhees Town Center parking lot located off of Somerdale Road. The movie will start at dusk and parking begins at 7:30pm. The food vendor will be J-Dogs. No pets/alcohol/smoking/vaping allowed. Parking is in designated spots, every other space, and space is limited. Lawn chairs and blankets are permitted.

Thursday, July 1, will be our second event and will feature The South Jersey Philharmonic Orchestra. The free concert will be held in the park area in front of Town Hall and will begin at 7:00p.m. This is a BYOC (bring your own chair) event. Food vendors will be available.

On Thursday, Aug. 19, we welcome Beatlemania Now, the premier Beatles tribute band. This mind-blowing performance takes you back in time with the legendary foursome delivering a note-for-note theatrical event that is the next best thing to seeing the Beatles. The band recaptures the excitement, the mood and the frantic intensity which evoke memories of the 60’s and 70’s. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. on the “Great Lawn” at Connolly Park. The “Beer Garden” and food trucks will open at 6:30 p.m.  There is also plenty of free parking.

Our final summer series event will be a drive-in movie on September 17. The PG movie The Goonies . will be shown on a 40-foot outdoor screen at the Voorhees Town Center parking lot. The movie will start at dusk and parking begins at 7:30 p.m.
