Paul VI leader wins Rising Sun Lodge No. 15 Educator of the Year

Sr. Marianne McCann was instrumental in keeping Paul VI High School running, and running safely, during the last 14 months of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rising Sun Lodge No. 15, F&AM, of Haddonfield, has announced its Educator-of-the-Year award winner, Sister Marianne McCann, principal of Paul VI High School in Haddon Township.

Sr. McCann’s extraordinary leadership in these difficult pandemic times has kept Paul VI running smoothly and, more importantly, running safely.

Lazarus Lodge No. 303, F&AM, of Camden (meets in Haddonfield), has selected Ms. Karen Borelli-Luke, of Haddon Heights, a teacher of Health and P.E. at Dr. Charles E. Brimm Medical Arts High School in Camden, as its Educator-of-the-Year. A Fox 29 “Top Teacher” in 2018, Karen is a favorite of her students, and her service extends far beyond the classroom into roles too numerous to mention here.

These dedicated educators will be honored and receive their awards at Rising Sun’s and Lazarus’ joint Annual Education Banquet to be held at Haddonfield Masonic Temple in early June.
