Berlin-Cross Keys Road detoured May 17 to 27 for major drainage improvement project

During the road closure, one lane will be maintained to provide access for emergency vehicles. Once the major improvements are completed, we will go back to the one lane detour plan which is currently in place and working successfully.

Commissioner Al Dyer announced that a major drainage improvement project will close Berlin-Cross Keys Road between Kearsley Road and Erial-New Brooklyn Road from May 17 through May 27, 2021.

“This project will greatly improve drainage on one of the most traveled roadways in the Southern part of our county. The detour plan has been developed with input from officials from both Winslow and Gloucester Townships,” said Dyer, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works. “During the road closure, one lane will be maintained to provide access for emergency vehicles. Once the major improvements are completed, we will go back to the one lane detour plan which is currently in place and working successfully.”

A posted detour route will guide motorists around the impacted area. Scheduling and project timing are dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
