Congratulations to Jonathan Yao for his success at DECA’s International Career Development Conference. In competition with students from all over the country and Canada, Jonathan Yao placed 2nd overall in his event (Professional Selling).
DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in high school for future careers in business and marketing. Jonathan had placed 1st at the regional and state levels of competition. His event is Professional Selling, a part of the Marketing cluster of Competitive Events hosted by DECA. Students are scored on a combination of written tests and oral presentation. The ICDC consists of top state performers across the country and from Canada. Congratulations to Jonathan for this impressive accomplishment!
