Evesham hosts Asian American and Pacific Islander festival

The event will be hosted at the Gibson House Community Center on May 16 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Evesham Township is proud to help celebrate the rich history and tradition of Asian American & Pacific Islander culture.

Don’t miss out on the upcoming Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Festival on Sunday, May 16 at the Gibson House Community Center, located at 535 E. Main St., Marlton, NJ 08053.

The day will feature live performances, ethnic foods, art stations and more. Bring lawn chairs so you can relax on the fields and enjoy the entertainment!

The event is free to attend will run on May 16 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The event’s special guest will be Congressman Andy Kim, who serves as the first Democratic member of Congress of Korean descent and the second overall.

Contributing groups for the event include the Asian American Alliance in South Jersey, Inspiring South Asian American Women – ISAAW, South Jersey Malayalee Association, Perkins Center for the Arts, Sikh American Legal Defense and Education Fund, The Greater Southern New Jersey Korean American Association, and the Indian Cultural Center of South Jersey!
