Homeward Bound hosts Wag Your Wheels on May 15

This socially distanced, outdoor event will feature a wide array of vehicles and vendors, live music, raffles, family fun, and plenty of shopping opportunities.

Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center will be hosting its inaugural Motor Show, Wag Your Wheels, on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Voorhees Town Center.  This socially distanced, outdoor event will feature a wide array of vehicles and vendors, live music, raffles, family fun, and plenty of shopping opportunities.

Best of all, animals in search of their forever families will be in attendance for prospective adopters to meet.

Registration is required for vehicles looking to take part in the festivities.  Entrance to the event for spectators is by donation.  More information can be found at www.homewardboundnj.org.

“This is a great opportunity to get outside and support the adoption center while taking part in the festivities,” said County Commissioner Jonathan Young. “Even throughout the pandemic our team has continued to host virtual and limited in-person events to support the center’s mission and the animals we care for. We are incredibly appreciative of the community’s continued support, ensuring that we can find displaced animals their forever homes.”

All money raised through the Wag Your Wheels Motor Show will go directly towards finding abused, neglected and forgotten animals their well-deserved, happily ever afters.

Formerly the Camden County Animal Shelter, Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center is the largest open admission shelter in the region, serving more than 5,000 abused, homeless and neglected animals annually. It offers low cost vaccinations for owned pets, spay/neuter surgeries for community cats, and works with local county officials to ensure the health and safety of homeless and feral companion animals.
