Youth players get chance to swing their way to World Series on Saturday

The free event features Phillies Ambassador and 1993 National League Champion Mickey Morandini held as part of Marlton Baseball’s season-opening celebration and food drive.

Youth players ages 4-15 years old in South Jersey are getting the chance to swing for the fences – and their way to the World Series – at the MLB Jr. Home Run Derby & Elks Statewide Batter Up Competition, being held as part of Marlton Baseball’s Season Opening Celebration & Food Drive at The Diamonds of Arrowhead Park in Marlton, NJ.

The fun and free competition allow hitters the chance to advance through three levels of competition, culminating at the MLB World Series.

Kids will also have the chance to meet 1993 National League Champion Phillie Mickey Morandini, who will be on-site signing autographs.
