The Gloucester County Certified Gardeners Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to spreading gardening knowledge, pollinator preservation, and community beautification. They will be holding their annual Spring Garden Expo and Plant Sale on May 8 (the day before Mother’s Day) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Scotland Run Park on Academy Street in Clayton, New Jersey.
There will be free gardening workshops on tomatoes, herbs, garden design, butterflies, and insects. No pre-registration is required. We offer free pH testing, and there’s a Q&A booth for lawn and garden questions. The Gloucester County Certified Gardeners will be selling plants from their greenhouse, and the proceeds support their projects around the county. Other vendors will be onsite as well, with a variety of plants, shrubs, trees, and garden-related items.
