On Wednesday March 31, over 90 Jersey Mike’s Subs throughout New Jersey – including Burlington and Camden Counties – are donating 100 percent of sales – that’s every dollar that comes in all day – to Make-A-Wish New Jersey! All month long during the March Month of Giving, customers have supported the mission by making a donation in-store or on the Jersey Mike’s app, and on March 31, the Day of Giving, participating Jersey Mike’s do something unprecedented – they donate 100 percent of sales to Make-A-Wish. On the Day of Giving, Jersey Mike’s is also generously offering free delivery through the Jersey Mike’s app.

“As we celebrate five years of granting wishes in partnership with Jersey Mike’s Subs, we are humbled to think about the lives that have been changed thanks to their financial support,” shared Tom Weatherall, President & CEO of Make-A-Wish New Jersey. “This year has been unprecedented because of the pandemic and has been a struggle for us as it has been for everyone. But Jersey Mike’s Subs has not stepped aside. They have instead found new and innovative ways to continue their support and create multiple opportunities for the community to support Make-A-Wish New Jersey and the March Month of Giving, with health and safety at the top of mind. We are honored by their continued commitment and proud to once again be a part of their March Month of Giving. So, all throughout March – and especially on March 31, the Day of Giving – please support your local Jersey Mike’s. Buy a sub and help grant a wish!”

Since Month of Giving began in 2011, Jersey Mike’s has raised more than $32 million for local charities. Since 2017, Jersey Mike’s Subs has raised over $1.1 million for its chapter and helped to grant over 150 local wishes. This year, local Jersey Mike’s owners and operators throughout the country are supporting more than 200 different charities.

Local Jersey Mike’s Franchisee John Helm (Cherry Hill, Cinnaminson, Moorestown, Voorhees, and Marlton) is a longtime support of Make-A-Wish. John’s daughter battled a critical illness when she was much younger, so John and his family understand the fears and anxieties that wish-families face every day.

Make-A-Wish New Jersey has granted over 11,000 wishes since its inception in 1983. The generous support of corporations like Jersey Mike’s Subs is critical to the organization’s continued success.
