Sicklerville resident places first for both trap and skeet shooting

Angelina D’Aquanno and Paige McMullen win honors for MAC Clay Target Team

Two students on the Mount Aloysius College clay target team recently received awards from the USA Clay Target Leave College Division. Pharmacy major Paige McMullen, of Ashville, Pennsylvania, was awarded second place for trap shooting and third place for skeet shooting in the league. Criminology major Angelina D’Aquanno, of Sicklerville, New Jersey, took home first place for both trap and skeet shooting, as well as a league medal for highest overall average female skeet shooter.

The Mount Aloysius College Clay Target Team is one of the few college teams in Pennsylvania that participates in the USA Clay Target League College Division. The league features 13 teams from all across the country. Mount Aloysius competes in a conference with only eight of those 13 teams. Each student shoots 50 trap and 50 skeet targets per week at the team’s weekly shoots at the Generations Skeet Club and the Patton Sportsmen Club.
