Obituary: Evelyn “Ev” Vogel

Evelyn “Ev” Vogel (nee Norman) passed away Friday, Feb. 12 at the age of 70. Beloved wife and mother, Evelyn was born on January 18, 1951 in Philadelphia, was raised in Maple Shade and is a 1969 graduate of Merchantville High School. Evelyn raised two daughters, Tracy and Tiffany, in Maple Shade and later resided in Moorestown with her husband Walter.

Evelyn possessed a passion to help those in need. She proudly became an EMT for both Lenola and Moorestown Emergency Squads and a paramedic of Virtua. Serving in these roles were some of her most rewarding accomplishments.

Evelyn adored spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed country line dancing and 50’s music dances. She enjoyed quilting and was always ready for a competitive game of Scrabble. Evelyn especially loved time with her husband Walter while taking boating and motorcycle trips, as well as participating in classic car shows. All of these brought her so much joy.

Evelyn is survived by her husband Walter “Walt,” daughters Tracy (nee Caputo) Warner (Derek) and Tiffany Caputo, her sister Sharon (nee Norman) Brown (Tom), her brother Albert Norman (Cindy), stepdaughter Kimberly Smith, stepsons Scott Vogel (Jayne) and Ryan Vogel (Melissa) and several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lenola Emergency Squad at 229 N. Lenola Road, Moorestown, NJ 08057. Condolences may be left at www.Lewisfuneralhomemoorestown.com
