Student Council to host food drive at Cherokee HS on Feb. 13

Donations will be accepted from 10 a.m. until noon this Saturday

Cherokee High School Student Council will host a Valentine’s Day Food Drive Feb. 13 from 10 a.m. to noon at the school.

This is an opportunity to “share some love” by donating non-perishable food items and other necessities to help those in need. Donations will help support Cherokee’s Food Pantry, and all non-perishable food items are greatly appreciated.

Enter Cherokee’s North parking lot off Willow Bend Road. Donors have the option of remaining in their vehicle or placing their donations in the clearly marked drop-off area. Student council members will be available to retrieve items from donors’ vehicles. All students will be practicing social distancing while wearing gloves and masks.

Please help Cherokee share some love this Valentine’s Day by providing for those experiencing shortages in food this year.
