“The last 30 days have been the deadliest of any such period during this pandemic for our community, with 167 deaths having been announced since the start of the year alone. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be filled with all the families of those we have lost,” said County Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli, Jr.

“We’re hopeful that with the new administration’s plan to increase the production of vaccines, we will be able to speed up this rollout in the months to come. Until that time, it is critical that everyone continue wearing a mask, social distancing, and taking all possible precautions to avoid contracting or spreading COVID-19.”

Trace investigations are being facilitated with the patients and remain ongoing.
