United Methodist Communities providing vaccinations to residents

Vaccine distribution part of statewide efforts to protect the most vulnerable population.

CVS Pharmacy staff arrived at United Methodist Communities at Collingswood, a senior retirement campus, to administer the COVID-19 vaccine. The team traveled room to room giving shots to healthcare (skilled nursing) residents. They set up a clinic area where healthcare associates also received their first Pfizer vaccine. CVS will return on February 2, 2021 to administer the second shot. (Photo credit: United Methodist Communities)

United Methodist Communities is pleased that New Jersey has made the right decision and included long-term care residents and staff as a top priority for vaccination in our state.

While the vaccine is not a panacea, it is an important step towards making our community healthy and safe. After ten long months, it is a ray of hope for many of our residents. In addition to its main facility in Collingswood, UMC also boasts a home care office, called HomeWorks, located in Haddonfield.
