Joseph Abbate, from Haddonfield, died at the age of 66 on Dec. 6, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Patricia “Patty” (nee Fulton), loving father of sons Anthony and Bobby, both of Haddonfield, devoted son of Theresa and the late Anthony Abbate, as well as the dear brother of Cathy Gillespie and Guy Abbate.
Joe is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Joe was a true family man, who loved and was deeply devoted to his wife, sons and mother. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him as a witty, intelligent, kind-hearted and generous person.
Joe’s family was to greet friends on Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. to 10: 45 a.m. at Christ The King Roman Catholic Church, 200 Windsor Avenue. His Funeral Mass was to follow at 11 a.m. Interment was to be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joe may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
