Shamong’s holiday light tour is officially open for viewing!
Nearly 30 buildings across the township have decorated for the 4th annual event, including the Pic-a-Lilly Inn, which will provide free beverages and entertainment at the end of the tour.
Most of the houses along the tour will be judged in a holiday decorating contest, with awards being given to categories like Most Elegant, Most Creative, Best Overall and The Griswold.
A new category, Most Street Spirit, will be awarded to the street with the most lights.
Shamong residents can vote online on Dec. 10 and 12 for their favorites in each category. Winners will be announced on Dec. 12.
