Palmyra Police department collecting toys, looking for families to support

The Palmyra Police Department is reaching out to all borough families who could use a little help this holiday season with gifts for their children.

If you are a parent or guardian who needs assistance, please fill out a form, which is available on the Facebook pages of the police department and SRO Omar Kendall.

Applicants will be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis. The Christmas assistance program is made possible through donations from the public and the Palmyra Police Officers Association.

To find the form, visit www.facebook.com/palmyrapolicenj or www.facebook.com/sropalmyra.

The police department is also accepting toy donations of all ages for its yearly toy donation drive to help local families. Donations of your unwrapped toys can be dropped off at police headquarters. Due to COVID restrictions, please call (856) 829-0198 at arrival and an officer will greet you at the door to take in your donation.
