Invitation extended to join the 65 Club

Haddonfield's society of retirement-aged men looking for others to join their ranks.

The Haddonfield 65 Club is seeking new members.

Although our meetings, usually held in person at our clubhouse (110 Rhoads Avenue) and recently at Borough Hall, are shut down as a result of COVID-19, we continue to meet every Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. via Zoom. The meetings are replete with prominent, informative and entertaining speakers, who provide our members and guests the opportunity to listen, learn and inquire, in addition to great fellowship and even a few colorful stories and/or jokes.

If you are looking for the perfect gift for the retired man or a grandfather who has everything or is hard to buy for, look no further than a membership in the Haddonfield 65 Club.

Yearly membership dues are $20. When coronavirus is defeated, the club will resume its in person activities of bridge on Mondays, trips on Tuesdays, tai chi and pinochle on Wednesdays, meetings on Thursdays, bowling on Friday and golf in spring through fall at nine local courses. Annual special events include our spring luncheon at Tavistock Country Club, Wine & Cheese and Holiday parties, participation in the 4th of July Parade, Salvation Army Red Kettle collections, as well as volunteering and making contributions to local charities.
