Grace Circle December Nut Sale supports local groups

Sale runs through Dec. 20

The Epworth United Methodist Church Nut Sale has been run by Grace Circle since 2006. It was started back in 1989 by the Health & Welfare Committee as part of the Southern New Jersey conference of the UMC.

The base profits from the Nut Sale go to the Woman’s Association of Methodist Hospital in Philadelphia, the Pastor’s Friendship Fund and the Epworth Youth Group. Last year the profit was $1,827, which was dispersed to the funds above and also to COVID Relief in New Jersey, Joy Phillips – Missionary, UMCOR, Neighborhood Center in Camden, Animal Welfare Society in Voorhees and Mary’s Closet.

The 2020 sale is underway. It is a little different since it cannot be held in the church this year. The order form can be found on the church website at www.palmyranjumc.org. There are names to contact on the order form by text, call or email. Order pick up will be on Sundays from 11 a.m. to noon, and Wednesdays from 5 to 6 p.m.

Please let Grace Circle know if you have any questions by calling, texting or emailing a member listed on the order form. The sale will run until Dec. 20.
