The following is a release by the Voorhees Police Department:
At approximately 2:58 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 16, Voorhees Police Units were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash in the area of Evesham Road (County Route 544) and Brendenwood Drive.
The initial on-scene investigation by police revealed the following: A 2014 Acura RDX, operated solely by a Voorhees resident, was traveling Eastbound on Evesham Road (County Route 544) when it struck a 2003 Chevy Malibu, operated solely by 62-year-old Gibbsboro resident Rita Mohr, who was attempting to exit the Avian Plaza.
Voorhees Police responded to the scene immediately and were informed by Emergency Medical Personnel that the driver of the Chevy Malibu, identified as Mohr, had succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
