Gloucester Township Public Schools is hosting a job fair next Monday, Nov. 16 for substitute teachers at Charles W. Lewis Middle School from 4 to 7 p.m.
The district is offering long term, full time substitute positions with benefits that can start as early Dec. 1. Jobs attendees are required to preregister, as walk-ins are not allowed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Attendees should also bring their resume and a copy of their certification.
A substitute teacher must hold a standard teaching certificate or certificate of eligibility issued by the New Jersey State Board of Examiners or must be eligible to receive a Substitute Teacher Credential. To receive the credential, a person must have completed 60 college credits and be approved by the Gloucester Township Board of Education.
