The Cherry Hill Public Library will be closed for the next two weeks in response to an employee testing positive to COVID-19. The library made the announcement on Tuesday, Nov. 3 and said it plans to reopen on Wednesday, Nov. 18.
“Our thoughts are with our employee and their family as they continue to get well,” the message on their website reads.
The library is closed for cleaning and are working with the Health Department to complete any necessary disinfecting. Book drops will be closed, and officials ask that patrons do not return any books at this time because there will be no staff on hand to collect them.
Items will not incur any fines, and all materials will be automatically renewed until Nov. 30. No notifications for items on hold or overdue will go out for the next two weeks.
The library will continue to host virtual programs.
