No tricks – just treats! Mayor Paul Medany and Deptford Council will sponsor a Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Deptford Rec Center, 52 Montague Lane.

Children can wear costumes and roll down their windows to receive their treats, which will be provided by the mayor and council, Deptford Police Department, Deptford Fire Department, Public Works, MUA, Parks & Recreation, Deptford Public Library, Deptford businesses and local sports organizations. A treat bag will be provided at each vehicle display, so there is no need to bring a bag. All participants must stay in their vehicle and wear a mask.

The free fun is for ages 2 to 12. Registration is required by Oct. 19 by emailing deptfordparksandrec@deptford-nj.org with how many children will be attending. Registration will be capped at 600 participants. All children must be Deptford Township residents and a proof of residency is required.
