Harrison Township fall leaf collection begins Oct. 19

Township is divided into six zones for collection

Harrison Township’s fall leaf collection program begins Oct. 19. The program will run through Dec. 28. To keep the collection organized and efficient, the township has been divided into six zones. For a zone schedule and map, visit harrisontwp.us.

No leaves should be placed in bags. Leave lives in long, narrow, neat piles curbside by starting dates for your zone. Do not place leaves within 10 feet of a storm drain. Do not park vehicles in front of leaf piles. No grass, twigs, branches, trash, dirt, concrete, metal, bushes or other debris are permitted.

Leaves can still be placed in the brown yard cart for regular weekly pickup through the end of November, as well as brought to the Recycle Center at 151 Colson Lane.

Questions, call the Public Works Department at (856) 223-1308 or email [email protected].
