While the Gloucester Township Recreation Centers’ Preschool Program is not in operation yet due to social distancing and capacity guidelines set forth by the state, the township has released a homeschool learning packet for parents and guardians to use with their children.
According to the Department Supervisor, the program has released nearly its entire curriculum for parents, covering all the topics the program typically does when in session.
The packet can be downloaded from the township website at www.glotwp.com under the ‘Recreation’ section in the ‘Departments’ tab. According to Department Supervisor Diane Jones, the program is preparing for the potential of a winter session if capacity limits are relaxed with regard to the COVID-19 pandemic.
