Obituary: Kathy Lynn Campanella

Kathy battled cancer for the last nine years.

Kathy Lynn Campanella (Peck) passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Sept. 7. Kathy courageously battled cancer for the last nine years.

Born in Levittown, Pa., Kathy was 39 years old. She was a resident of Moorestown for the last six years and formerly lived in Maple Shade, Cherry Hill and Sicklerville.

Kathy received her master’s degree from the University of Phoenix in accounting. Kathy was employed in the accounting department at the PNC Bank in Moorestown.

She was the beloved wife of 19 years to Anthony V. Campanella; loving mother of Katelyn, Dante, Joseph, Ashley and Albert and cherished grandmother of Cheyenne and Charli. She was also the beloved daughter of Kathy and John Fazen.

She was the dear sister of Kim Council, Allison Boulware, Corey Fazen, Chris Peck, David Peck and Michael Peck. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Kathy enjoyed eating pizza at King of Pizza in Cherry Hill, reading, sitting on her deck or her gazebo and enjoying quiet times with family and friends. Kathy was a co-troop leader with the Moorestown Girls Scouts Troop 27406, the family vacations to Lake Tahoe, South of the Border, Disneyland, Tennessee and Bermuda were best of times. Most of all Kathy cherished spending time with her family and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, Sept. 13 from noon to 2 p.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson loated at 1200 Route 130 North. Her funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Guests are required to wear mask and social distancing will be in effect.
