Indoor dining set to begin Friday

Establishments to once again allow for indoor operations, within Gov. Murphy's 25-percent rule.

Participating Downtown Haddonfield food and beverage establishments, including restaurants, coffee shops, dessert shops, and other food retailers, are opening their doors for indoor dining starting Friday 4.

Many of the Downtown’s restaurants moved seating outdoors during the past few months to serve patrons under the health guidelines. The recent announcement by the New Jersey Governor extends seating to indoors at 25-percent capacity.

“We have been patiently awaiting the re-pening of indoor dining services, and that day has finally arrived! We are thrilled by this news, and look forward to welcoming visitors indoors to experience our one-of-a-kind dining scene with both indoor and outdoor seating options,” explained Remi Fortunato, Partnership for Haddonfield Retail Recruiter.

Patrons are asked to wear masks unless eating, and maintain six feet of distance between others while dining.

Outdoor seating will continue at many establishments, weather permitting, to allow more guests to enjoy a Downtown meal. For those who prefer it, curbside delivery of pre-ordered retail purchases remains available at many shops; and restaurants continue with curbside pickups and deliveries of all your Haddonfield favorites.

Downtown Haddonfield has continually been promoting ways for everyone to shop and dine safely, via their ‘Haddonfield Cares’ campaign, which focuses on the importance of wearing masks while in the Downtown, practicing social distancing, and frequent hand sanitizing.

The Partnership for Haddonfield (PfH), the management corporation for Haddonfield’s business improvement district, thanks all who have shown support to the businesses by shopping in-store and online, buying gift certificates, taking part in virtual experience classes, or choosing outdoor dining and/or take-out or delivery from our food and beverage establishments.
