Knights of Columbus to host drive-through food drive

The drive will take place at Lady of Good Counsel parking lot located in back of the church on Saturday Aug. 22 between 9 and 11 a.m.

During this time of COVID-19, the need for food distribution to those in financially hard times has increased while collections have dropped off. As a result, the Moorestown Knights of Columbus are sponsoring the Drive-Through-Food-Drive in Our Lady of Good Counsel parking lot located in back of the church at 42 West Main St. on Saturday Aug. 22 between 9 and 11 a.m. Only non-perishable food items are accepted.

Social distancing is respected by asking that contributions be placed in the trunk of your car. Go to the location, pop your trunk whereupon a volunteer (wearing a mask) removes your donation and off you go.

Donations are taken to Live Civilly, a food pantry in Moorestown. Cash donations are also accepted for the OLGC St. Vincent DePaul Society which helps serve the needy people during this economically difficult time. Checks may be made out to K of C Council 1082 (write on memo line Vincent DePaul). Donations may also be made online at https://www.moorestownknights.org.

Live Civilly and the Knights of Columbus are very appreciative of any donation. Questions may be directed to Richard Bakley at (856)235-7972 or rbakley01@comcast.net.
