Gloucester County’s summer movie series comes to Washington Twp. on July 17

Residents can enjoy “A Nightmare Before Christmas," beginning at dusk.

Residents can enjoy a free movie at James G. Atkinson Memorial Park in Washington Township this month.

The Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders has kicked off its free movies in the park summer series. The series comes to Atkinson Park on Friday, July 17, as the film “A Nightmare Before Christmas” will be shown. Residents are invited to grab a blanket, snacks and head outside for some entertainment.

Movies are free to the public and will begin at dusk. Social distancing and face masks are required.

Atkinson Park is located at 138 Bethel Mill Road in Sewell. Anyone with questions can call the department of parks and recreation at (856) 251-6710 or visit www.gloucestercountynj.gov.
