Gloucester County’s number of new COVID-19 cases continues to drop heading into the second half of June.
Gloucester County reported just nine new cases on Tuesday and five new cases on Wednesday. For the week spanning June 11 through June 17, Gloucester County reported an average of 11.3 new cases per day, the lowest total since the first full week cases were reported from March 18 through March 25. Below is a breakdown of the week-by-week average daily case numbers in Gloucester County:

The number of COVID-19 deaths increased last week for the first time in a month. The county reported 14 deaths over the seven-day period, with at least one death being reported for nine straight days from June 9 to June 17.
