Medford students earn academic recognition, degrees

Abigail Murtaugh will be graduating from Bishop Eustace Prep and she has had perfect attendance from kindergarten through her senior year of high school — 13 years! She has earned honor cords in history, religion and music (Tri-M).  She plays the harp for the Bishop Eustace Orchestra and has played at mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Stratford, N.J. where she also sings as a cantor. In the fall, she will be attending Temple University and will be majoring in biology.

Kyle and Marc Ebiri, with distinctions and Connor Maguire were named to dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at Grove City College.

Matthew Klischies, Amanda Lapinski, Adam Richwall and Cecily Widmann were named to dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at York College of Pennsylvania.

Kevin Bohny received a bachelor of science in commerce and business administration from the University of Alabama.

Julianne Marie Hewitt, Kenady Maxine Oneil, Darian R. Reimels, Audrey Anne Schwarz and Owen W. Volkerijk were named to dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at Kutztown University.

Charlotte Greenberg, class of 2020, and Jonathan Searcy, class of 2023, were named to dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at Bucknell University.

Charlotte Greenberg received a bachelor of arts in psychology from Bucknell University.

Madison Laplante graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of science in biomedical sciences and a minor in neuroscience from the University of the Sciences. She was a member of the softball team.

Grayson Christopher Myers earned Summa Cum Laude and honors in history with a degree in history and political science from McDaniel College. Myers was the recipient of the Hugh Barnette Speir, Jr. prize for the student showing the greatest excellence in European history.

Hanna Kaminski graduated with a bachelor of science degree in sustainable landscape horticulture during commencement ceremonies on May 17 at the University of Vermont.
