Downtown Haddonfield ready to return to business

Per Gov. Murphy's recent executive order, Haddonfield's retail returning and restaurants open for outdoor dining, with social distancing rules in place.

A key milestone in the health of Haddonfield’s downtown core will soon be reached, as the borough’s retail shops are opening their doors and food establishments are providing outdoor dining service starting Monday, June 15.

“We are thrilled to see our retail businesses open and outdoor dining now available at our restaurants. We look forward to seeing everyone during the summer in the Downtown,” explained Remi Fortunato, Partnership for Haddonfield retail recruiter.

Downtown Haddonfield is the Delaware Valley’s premier shopping district with an array of beautiful stores that are set up in well-preserved Colonial buildings. Located along a picturesque, tree-lined main street and side streets, Haddonfield’s independently owned shops offer beautifully displayed merchandise with unbeatable customer service. Customers are asked to wear masks as well as maintain six feet of distance between others while visiting inside the stores.

Participating restaurants, coffee shops, dessert shops and other food retailers in the Downtown are offering outdoor seating outside their business.

Haddonfield offers an assortment of dining options – including fine restaurants, quaint coffee shops, and sweet ice cream shops. Haddonfield has it all… fine chef-owned restaurants offering a range of cuisines like Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Indian and more; fun & casual dining options like hoagies, pizza, organic juice drinks, yogurt and more; and an array of gourmet and food-oriented retailers – with shops selling everything from gourmet cupcakes and specialty olive oils to food items from France and the British Isles.

The chefs of Haddonfield offer guests an authentic experience with unique menu items offering savory dining options sure to meet the appetite of any hungry shopper. Customers are asked to maintain six feet of distance between others while dining al fresco.

For those who prefer it, curbside delivery of pre-ordered retail purchases remains available at many shops. Restaurants are expected to continue with curbside pickups and deliveries of all your Haddonfield favorites.

Downtown Haddonfield has continually been promoting ways for everyone to shop safely, via their ‘Open for Business’ campaign, which highlights ways to safely dine and do business with Downtown shops and food/beverage establishments. For the most up-to-date list and announcements regarding retail businesses and outdoor dining options as well as takeout and delivery, visit DowntownHaddonfield.com/Events/Open/.
