The following is a release by The Friends of the Marie Fleche Memorial Library:

The Friends of the Marie Fleche Memorial Library would like to congratulate the two recipients of this year’s Lucien P. Fleche Memorial Scholarship.  Max Millenbach was awarded a $1,000 scholarship to a four year college and Carly Pearce was awarded the $500 scholarship to a two year junior college.

Millenbach, a senior at Paul VI High School, is the son of Steven and Linda Millenbach.  He will be attending Drexel University and majoring in Mechanical Engineering.  A few of Max’s accomplishments and activities included: National Honor Society, Treasurer of the Tri M Music Honor Society, band and cross country.

Pearce, a senior at Camden Catholic High School, is the daughter of Paul and Kathleen Pearce.  She will be attending Camden County College and majoring in Business Administration.  Carly was inducted into the English, Science and Math Honor Societies at Camden Catholic High School.

We would like to wish both of these graduates good luck in all their future endeavors.  This is the sixtieth year that the Lucien P. Fleche Memorial Scholarship has been awarded.  The scholarship is funded through the fund raising activities of the Friends of the Marie Fleche Memorial Library.
