Cherokee High School history teacher Jessica LeGrange will be taking on a new role within the Lenape Regional High School District, this time at Seneca High School, of assistant principal. The announcement was approved at the district’s April 29 board of education meeting.
“I am really excited about the addition of Jess LeGrange to our Seneca Family,” Brad Bauer said, who recently promoted to principal at Seneca High School. “Her enthusiasm, experiences and knowledge of our school and community make her a perfect fit for our school.”
LeGrange transitions to the new position on Aug. 1, the same day Bauer becomes principal and Jeff Spector begins his retirement.
“For the last nine years, I have had the privilege of teaching history at Cherokee as well as coaching cheerleading and lacrosse,” LeGrange said. “Being surrounded by such a dedicated staff and administration inspired me to constantly improve personally and professionally. I also had amazing mentors in (Cherokee) Principal Donna Charlesworth, and her leadership team, who I always admired and learned from.”
She added her excitement to join Seneca’s staff and administrative team, calling them a passionate and close-knit group.
“I am also looking forward to assisting the new principal, Brad Bauer, in fulfilling his vision for the school. I was born and raised in Tabernacle so this position feels especially fitting.
“I am so grateful for this opportunity and cannot wait for what the future holds.”
