Collection this weekend for those in need

Delran Neighbors Helping Neighbors seeking donations April 17-19

Not everyone is fortunate to have full cabinets and refrigerators. Some people are in real need. It’s time for the Delran community to help its neighbors.

From 10 a.m. to noon during the weekend of April 17, 18 and 19, Delran Neighbors Helping Neighbors will be collecting food and fun items for those in need. Drop-off sites include Chick-Fil-A, Calvary Church, Dooney’s Pub, Milanese Pizza and Rt. 130 Diner.

Items needed include: canned and jarred items such as vegetables, tuna, pasta sauce, soup, juice; boxed items such as cereal, pasta, potatoes, stuffing; baby items such as formula, cereal, baby food, baby wipes, diapers; and coloring books, crayons, activity books, puzzles and other similar fun items.

This event is sponsored by Delran for a Fair and Balanced Government and Chick-Fil-A. In addition to the drop-off spots, other supporters include Staples, Kiddie Academy, and Keller Williams Realty.
