Health director urges residents to stay home after 19 deaths announced

Ten municipalities reported they have lost their residents from the virus as the county urges people to stay home.

“[April 15] we grieve for the loss of nineteen residents whose lives were cut short by Coronavirus disease,” said Dr. Herb Conaway. “Each day our first responders, healthcare workers and essential personnel working in groceries, banks, factories and supply houses risk their lives going to work. Despite all of their efforts, and all the work that is done, we as a community will rise and fall by the compliance to social distancing rules. The lives of your families and friends are on the line.
