Gloucester County reports 18 new COVID-19 cases for April 15

The number of cases is the lowest single-day total for Gloucester County since April 3.

Gloucester County is reporting an additional death as well as 18 new positive cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, April 15.

County officials say a 79-year-old man has died from COVID-19. He is the 12th Gloucester County resident to pass away from the virus since the start of the pandemic last month.

Gloucester County’s 18 new cases for April 15 is the fourth consecutive day the number of positive cases has decreased in the county. It is also the lowest single-day total of positive cases since April 3.

Today’s newly confirmed positive cases are as follows:

    • A 66-year-old female from Clayton
    • A 32-year-old female from Washington Township
    • A 58-year-old female from East Greenwich
    • A 28-year-old male from Woolwich
    • A 55-year-old female from Washington Township
    • An 85-year-old female from Glassboro
    • A 39-year-old male from Westville
    • A 33-year-old male from Paulsboro
    • A 43-year-old female from Paulsboro
    • A 38-year-old male from Monroe Township
    • A 39-year-old female from Logan
    • An 80-year-old male from Monroe Township
    • A 38-year-old female from West Deptford
    • A 41-year-old female from Monroe Township
    • A 90-year-old female from Washington Township
    • A 43-year-old male from Westville
    • An 85-year-old female from Washington Township
    • An 84-year-old male from Washington Township

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had.
