CamCo announces 95 additional COVID-19 cases, now 504 in total

Largest single day in confirmed positive cases for Camden County announces 95 new cases

The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 95 additional confirmed cases of patients with coronavirus (COVID-19) today. This brings the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases to 504 in Camden County today and 10 total fatalities.

“Another 95 residents have been confirmed positive by the state and private labs this morning. This total has been relatively consistent over the course of the week and continues to show two things: one, that testing is more widespread than it was two weeks ago, and two, we are seeing this virus spread within our community,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “This underlying issue of community spread is the reason we must continue to fight against this virus, we must continue to make our personal sacrifices, we must continue to stay home and we must support the essential personnel out on the front lines keeping us safe, working in our hospitals and ensuring we still have a robust supply chain. As I said yesterday, we must be united as a community that our efforts will break the back of this destructive, silent, invisible virus.”

The Department of Health is also announcing 95 additional positive cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) identified in Camden County. Trace investigations are being facilitated with the patients and remain ongoing.
