Haddonfield to show its appreciation for those who keep things running

Residents of all ages can demonstrate their thanks and support on April 10.

On Friday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m., residents of the Borough of Haddonfield are encouraged to show their appreciation to the first responders who have worked hard, and businesses which have remained open in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.

Friends and neighbors should take to their front porches, their cars and their pavements to flick your house lights, honk your horns, bang your pots and pans and whatever else you have handy to show appreciation.

Kids can use their sidewalk chalk to write notes of appreciation, as well.

Middle schoolers are encouraged to craft a flyer or banner and duct tape it on a tree in the front yard or porch railing.

High school students can show their appreciation by getting the word out through social media.
