Monroe Township Council to live stream meeting March 23

Residents can take part by emailing questions, comments to clerk by 3 p.m.

In following Gov. Phil Murphy’s directive to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, Monroe Township Council will hold its public meeting on Monday, March 23, at 7 p.m. by way of electronic communication/live streaming.

All regular business scheduled to be conducted at the 8 p.m. council meeting will be conducted during the work session meeting, which was previously scheduled to take place on March 23 at 7 p.m., and will be broadcasted live via UberConference.com. Those who wish to watch may access the meeting via URL by downloading the UberConference App or visiting uberconference.com/jmccrea3. By phone only, dial in to (856) 441-3536.

Members of the public can participate in the meeting by submitting comments by email to clerk Aileen Chiselko at AChiselko@monroetownshipnj.org by 3 p.m. the day of the meeting, March 23. The comments should be limited to 250 words. These
comments will be read into the record by a governing body member or the clerk during the
public comment period. This is a temporary policy only put in place due to a public health
emergency.

Township Council will hold this meeting via online meeting forum and telephone conference and will not be in-person. This meeting will be closed to any in-person attendance except for essential individuals for broadcasting, council president, clerk and solicitor. Formal action will be taken.
