Barbara Patricia Green of Moorestown passed away on Feb. 26 at the age of 89.
Barbara retired in 2001 from the Pyne Poynt Middle School in Camden after more than 33 years teaching music. She was a graduate of Howard University and a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. She was President of the Moorestown League of Women Voters, member and past Secretary of the Moorestown Improvement Association, Trustee of Burlington County College.
She was the wife of 63 years to Cephas Green; mother of Anthony “Tony” Green and Keith Green. She was the grandmother of Ryndi Green, Jasmine Vaughn and Nia Green.
A viewing will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, March 9 at the Second Baptist Church located at 319 Mill St. Moorestown, NJ. A funeral service will follow at 11 am Monday at the church. Interment will be private.
