Gloucester Township schools receive state aid figures

Both Gloucester Township Public Schools and the Black Horse Pike Regional School District will see slight increases in state aid next year

Following the release of Gov. Phil Murphy’s 2021 state budget proposal late last month, both Gloucester Township Public Schools and the Black Horse Pike Regional School District received their state aid allocations, seeing slight increases in funding.

For GTPS, the district will see an increase of $1,468,072 or approximately 2.8 percent, going up from $52,489,695 to $53,957,767. Meanwhile, the BHPRSD will see an increase of 2.54 percent of its state funding from the previous year. The district will go from $34,533,999 to $35,412,255, or an increase of $878,256.
