GCIT to host free vaping education presentation

This program is offered to the families and community members of Gloucester County and will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at GCIT

The Gloucester County Institute of Technology and School-Based Youth Services (SBYS) is hosting a free program entitled “Vaping: The Truth Behind the Trend.” This program is offered to the families and community members of Gloucester County and will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 19 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the GCIT Theater. Refreshments will be served, starting at 6:00 p.m.

The program is offered through a collaboration with The Southwest Council, Inc. Vaping has become a trend that is taking the world by storm, yet there are more dangers than people realize. This informational session will be reviewing these products and the real dangers and harm they bring. Discussions will be about vaping trends and what to look for and how to help your teen.

There is no fee to attend the program, and professional development hours will be offered to those who request them.
