Harrison Township School District announces Preschool Inclusion Program

The program will provide the population of children with special needs the opportunity to be educated in the least restrictive environment.

The Harrison Township School District will be offering a Preschool Inclusion Program for the
2020-2021 school year. There will be a 3-year-old program run in the morning and a 4-year-old program in the afternoon. The Preschool Inclusion Program will provide the population of children with special needs the opportunity to be educated in the least restrictive environment. Each session will be a two-and-a-half-hour program, five days a week.

Children must have attained the age of 3 years or 4 years of age (but not 5 or more years of age) on or before Oct. 1, 2020. To help you learn more about the program, an open house will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 18 from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. in a preschool classroom at Harrison Township Elementary School.

Selection for the program will be by lottery. The program cost $2,600 for the 2020-2021 school year. Transportation is not provided.
