Each year Trinity Episcopal and Our Lady of Good Counsel host an event geared for youth on Monday, Jan. 20, the day designated as the national day of observance. This year, the Moorestown Ministerium Anti-Racism Task Force is hosting an additional event on Sunday, Jan. 19 at 3 p.m. and inviting world-renowned King portrayer, Dr. John Moore, to come and do excerpts from some of Dr. King’s most famous speeches.

For more than 20 years, Dr. Moore has been electrifying audiences with his impassioned presentation of speeches like, “I have a Dream”, “Our God is Marching On” and “I’ve been to the Mountaintop.”

Senator Troy Singleton and other elected officials will be in attendance for this event. Fifteen students from the Moorestown School District along with Dr. Scott McCartney will be in attendance as well as clergy, community leaders, business owners, community members and other invited guests. This event is free and open to the public.
