Performance on Saturday to benefit Israelis with special needs

Presentation of "Ruth's Daughters" to occur in Haddonfield home.

Come connect with fellow Israel supporters in Haddonfield and join us for a powerful evening including a performance of “Ruth’s Daughters” by Christine Emmert.

The biblical Ruth gave voice to a song which begins the thread of writing through the Jewish tradition to present day.

Emmert takes us through her personal look at the talents of many women who wrote in their particular voice and touched life beyond their own Jewish heritage, from Ruth to such moderns as Anne Frank, Gertrude Stein, Lillian Hellman, Geraldine Brooks, Nora Ephron and others.  Come to laugh, cry, rethink and then do it all over again.

This performance will Benefit the Program-Special In Uniform-an Affiliate of Jewish National Fund. Special in Uniform, is a very unique program that operates in partnership with Jewish National Fund to integrate young people with autism and other disabilities into the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and,in turn, into Israeli society. Saturday, Nov. 23, 6:30 p.m., at 21 Walnut Street, Haddonfield.

This Event is Free and Open to the Public. RSVP preferred but not required.

For more information, call: (917) 239-9960.
